i am really eager to make my own mini thanksgiving dinner.
the closest i got this past weekend was snagging turkey carcasses and making broth. oh, and some mashed potatoes that i am either going to make into soup or Shepard's pie.
i want to try out a dry-brining technique that martha stewart had in last months issue.
And then for side, this apple sausage and parsnip stuffing, homemade cranberry sauce, gravy and roasted delicata squash. i think i'll be okay without mashed potatoes and green beans.
and perhaps apples for dessert. apple pie?
i'm trying to think of a good time to do it.
my lack of a dining room thwarts me sometimes...
