is any one else a member of the Seed Savers Exchange?
i am contemplating membership. the additional millions of seeds made available to their members is certainly tempting, but in the heart of it, i can't help but feel that i should be supporting this endeavor to maintain our gardening and agricultural heritage and diversity.
at other times i have been intrigued by Slow Food USA but the cost is slightly more prohibitive and the benefits slightly less enticing.
however, has anyone been a member of either?
or another program that you've found rewarding?
do you get anything for joining? other than having access to a bazillion seeds one would never have the time to grow?
